Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting a SW and Robotic Space Engineer, for an aerospace client based in Rome.
Within the Advanced Technologies activities the resource will perform satellite and ground segment engineering activities with particular focus on new technologies such as robotic, digital twin, virtual reality, big data, data scientist, artificial intelligence, Space environment activities.
Responsabilità
In particular the SW and Robotic Space Engineer, will be responsible for:
Study and identification of advanced techniques for space missions with particular focus toward autonomous system
Data and 3D Visualization by novel Technologies
Remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and remote manipulator system (RMS) activities
Integrating 3D vision-based systems
Development of SW for prototyping
Contribute to the design and development of new solution for Ground and space by use of new and novel technologies
Study and consolidate the interoperability architecture for Space products
To prepare ground and Space Segment requirements and design documentation
Data budget and trade-offs analysis for Space Mission
Study of the main COTS products and management of the ad hoc development for additional features

Also required is knowledge in the following areas:
Knowledge of 3D and XR (VR, AR and MR) solutions
Knowledge of Data analysis and big data technologies
Knowledge of Python , Java, C ++, STK, Simulink, Matlab
Knowledge in multi-core programming and optimization
Knowledge of Cyber security concepts
The ideal candidate has:
Master Degree and previous working experience in Space Business
fluent English and Italian, spoken and written
good grasp of technology and informed about evolutions and trends
familiarity with and can apply measurement theory, statistics, informatics and physics
The ideal candidate should be in possession of:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Ability to relate to people to find information, share analysis results and facilitate "problem solving"
Availability to travel
Excellent ability to work by deadlines
