Within a process team and under the supervision of the Process Lead, defines, sizes and validates the unit operations to be implemented in order to convert the feed of the plant into products with the expected yields and characteristics.
Responsabilities: ·
Provides Lead with the computations and simulations relevant to the study;
Ensures quality and consistency of the technical information of the study;
Develops Heat&Material Balances using simulation softwares;
Develops Process Flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feedstocks into on specification products;
Defines and sizes Equipment and Instrumentation to be implemented and issues relevant Process Data sheets;
Elaborates Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Performs hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems, in steady state and transient operation;
Defines the utilities requirements and designs the associated systems;
Takes part of the multidisciplinary project reviews such as P&IDs, HAZOP, 3D Model.
Qualifications
CHEMICAL ENGINEER – Minimum 2 years and more in Oil&Gas process design engineering. Speaking, Reading and Writing in Italian and English.
