We are currently recruiting, for the Italian unit of a prestigious global Company, leader in the IT Industry (web search engine, mail provider, web services, hardware products ecc.), based in Rome, an IT Security Specialist.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will work on the Cyber Security Response Team - Security Monitoring, Forensic and Threat Intelligence function. This position requires a motivated fast learner, who is able to work within the Response team function to identify, analyze, and remediate potential threats to the environment.
What will you do: performing security monitoring, investigations and perform analysis of events in order to thwart internal and external threats to the environment. Additionally, will collaborate on an ongoing basis to support detection, triage, incident analysis, containment, remediation and reporting of events/incidents while coordinating, balancing business priorities, emerging and actual threats and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets. You'll assist team in security and solve issues, events/incidents, install a setup security solutions like SIEM, Firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) eMail Security, setup system hardening solutions, apply security patches or recommended configurations to respond or recover to a security vulnerability or attack, respond in a timely manner (within documented SLA).
Required Education
Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or similar Field.
Good spoken and written English level is required.
