As Digital & Technologies team, we are currently recruiting a Customer Engineer SQL Server for the Italian unit of a prestigious global Company, leader in the IT Industry.
You will provide various services to the Enterprise customers to increase systems availability, resolve critical issues, and ultimately improve the health of the customers’ environments. You will consult with experienced technical staff to ensure they have the skills to troubleshoot and maintain their solution. When things do go wrong you will provide rapid on-site expertise to resolve critical situations.

• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Troubleshooting knowledge & skills
• Degree qualification or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management
The role requires depth knowledge in a number of the following technology areas:
• Data modeling and database design, management and policy-based management
• Indexing strategy
• Performance Optimization and Tuning Capabilities
• Partitioning data implementations
• Metadata management and repository usage
• Database schema creation and management
• Backup and recovery
• Ensuring data integrity
• SQL code reviews with ability to dissect query plan, T-SQL code
• Procedural skills
• Data security
• Data Encryption
• Auditing
• Replication of data
• SQL Edition and version differences with discontinued and deprecated features
• Upgrade process
• Storage management techniques
• Data Engine Capacity planning
• Extended events and Traces
• Basic Licensing and support scenarios
• Nice to have: Windows Failover Clustering, SQL Server Reporting service, SQL server Integration Service, SQL Server Analysis Service, Powershell
