Randstad Italia spa, In-house division, is searching a CAD Designer for a customer company in the aerospace industry.
Responsabilità
In the frame of Mechanical, Thermal and Propulsion Engineering Department, the candidate will
have the following main tasks:
- Mechanism design, 3D CAD modelling and sizing
- Spacecraft configuration layout studies through CAD as support to Configuration Responsible
- 3D modelling of the parts of the spacecraft Mechanical Structure
- 3D modelling of the harness layout study
- fulfilling 2D drawings related to previous bullets
- BOM preparation and management
- Technical management of the assigned developments
Functie-eisen
The resource has the following skills:
- Experienced knowledge of CAD modelling (CATIA V5 preferred):
Mechanical design - mandatory:
- Parts Design (Structural or Mechanism)
- Assembly Design and relevant documentation
- Parts input assessment for using (ICD, data sheets, etc…)
- Drafting (traditional and/or with full digital means)
- knowledge of a PDM (ENOVIA preferred)
- parts/assemblies tolerances management and measurement means
- Parts list creation and management
- Product Tree generation and management (including using of dedicated tools)
- Experience in mathematical simulation and programming code/macros SW using
- Experienced (good) knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Mechanical analysis – nice to have:
- Capability to prepare mechanical model using built-in module and to run basic static/modal analysis to preliminarily assess the validity of simple parts
- Electrical Design – nice to have: Capability to autonomously understand and comment for using in electrical harness routin and or RF patterns definition/documentation:
- electrical input (schematics, wiring list, etc…)
- electrical miscellanea parts description
- RF parts/connections description
The resource shall have a minimum of two years’ experience in the role of CAD specialist as
configuration designer. In this frame the knowledge of satellite configuration at system level is a
major plus.
In addition also the experience of modelling and sizing a mechanical assembly would be a plus.
