Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting a Avionics Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Developer & Test Engineer, for an aerospace client based in Rome.
Responsabilità
The job holder will be in charge of contributing to the different phases of design of Avionics Hardware In the Loop (HIL) test environment including the subsequent phases for Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification of Satellite Avionics testing, starting from initial test design phase, test sequence implementation, up to test execution and final test report/documentation preparation and reviews with customer.
The proposed job includes also design, implementation of Avionic and Spacecraft Platform Models (C/C++ based compliant to ECSS SMP standard).
In particular the Avionics Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Developer & Test Engineer , will be responsible for:
Support to HW units specification and technical management of related procurement
Study/Understanding the design provided by AOCS/DHC Design Authority in order to develop a verification and testing approach
To develop and write test sequences for AOCS, DHC, FDIR aspects,
To execute the AOCS/DHC/FDIR test and to write the relevant Test Reports
Avionics V&V activity at Avionic Test Bench (ATB) level
To develop the Dynamics Simulation SW (DSS) for ATB and to execute the functional test on AVS Units
AVS special verification facilities Requirements Specification an procurement technical monitoring (e.g. STT EGSE and GNSS EGSE)

Also required is knowledge in the following areas:
Knowledge of real/no-real time test environment (for Hardware In the Loop HIL Testing)
Matlab/Simulink programming
C/C++ programming
Knowledge of kinematics and dynamics of rigid bodies
Knowledge of ESA technical standard (at least two of the following list) is plus:

Able to work with instruments of laboratory oscilloscope, multimeter, protocol analyser
Knowledge of quality process and procedures is plus
The ideal candidate has:
Master Degree in Electrical/Computer/Control Engineering, with explicit focus on programming, Hardware In the Loop Testing and Control Systems Engineering.
Good level in English both listening and reading.
